A Calexico man was in serious condition after being shot Nov. 25 in the upper right shoulder, police said.

About 10:15 p.m., a Desert Hot Springs man pulled into the parking lot of the 7-Eleven at 68-490 Dinah Shore Drive. He approached two Cathedral City police officers already in the parking lot and said he had a friend with a gunshot wound in his passenger's seat. Police said they believe the shooting happened on Sky Blue Water Trail.
