Ed Colon.

He died at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. A man seen leaving the home at the time of the shooting in a white BMW has been found, Colon said. He would not say if the man is a suspect. Colon said police have multiple "people of interest." Police ask anyone with information to call 770-0328. Carlos Padilla, 31, and Hector Martinez, 29, entered the store on Highway 1 1 1 at 9:25 a.m. They were arrested on charges of commercial burglary and conspiracy, according to a La Quinta Police Department release.

A female suspect was detained and later released. An investigation determined Padilla is a former Target asset prevention officer who robbed several Target stores throughout Southern California, according to police.
