i THE DESERT SUN Thursday, October 27, 1994 1 AOON THE RECORD Submit items to "Yes" desk, 778-4659 Sarah Weaver, 93 Howard Jones 45 Jimmle McClean, 61 Anna Jorgensen, 82 OBITUARIES Private services will be held for Sarah Ermine "Tippy" Elsie Mae Scott, 99 i Graveside services for Elsie Mae Scott, 99, of Collins, will be in Hill City, Kansas. Mrs. Scott, a native of Hill City, died Sunday in Collins. She was an Indio resident from' 1962-87. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, R.Q. and Moy Gee Scott of Collins; three grandchildren; three and two sisters. Weaver, 93, of Palm Springs. Mrs. Weaver, a native of Ouray, died Monday at Inner Image Care Home in Palm Springs.

She was a Anna Elisabeth Jorgensen, 82, died Sunday in Palm Desert. A native of Waupaca, she was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the University of Minnesota. She worked with Lutheran Social Services of Wasau, and with Children's Home Society of Los Angeles, placing orphans. Survivors include a brother, Arthur Jorgensen of Fort Myers, and 12 nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Jimmie Lou McClean, 61, of Palm Desert will be at 11:15 a.m.

Friday at St Martin of Tours Church, 11-967-Sunset Santa Monica. Mrs. McClean, a native of Lincoln, died Monday. She was a graduate of the University of Redlands, taught in the Ventura County School District and was a flight attendant for TWA. She also worked in the admissions office of Santa Monica College.

Survivors include her husband, James; a daughter, Kim Roundtree of Page, two sons, Michael and Kevin McClean, both of Southern California; and two grandchildren. The family suggests donations to St Judes Hospital for Crippled Children, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Visitation for Howard Lee Jones, 45, of Fontana and Cathedral City will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Green Acres Chapel, 11715 Cedar Bloomington.

Mr. Jones, a native of Van Nuys, died Saturday at his home. He was a crane operator for 11 years. He was a member of the Hour of Power Eagles Club and the Lottery Club. Survivors include his longtime companion, Leo Van Gorkum of Fontana; his mother, Virginia Jones of Highland; three brothers, Alvin Nelson of Riverside, Hollis Jones Jr.

of Sacramento and Edward Jones of Kansas; and a sister, Virginia Jones Jr. of Highland. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Green Acres Memorial Park in Bloomington. Kindlund, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., died Sunday at his home He was president of Abon Manufacturing a novelty manufacturer in New York. He served with ihe U.S. Army Air Forces from 942-1945. Survivors include his wife, Gea-Qs; a daughter, Julie Kindlund of Springs; two sons, T. James Kindlund and Gary Kindlund, both of Palm Springs; and one grandchild.

Burial was at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City. Lola Robertson, 59 Private family services will be field for Lola Jean Robertson, 59, of Bancho Mirage. Mrs. Robertson, a native of Nebraska, died Monday at Manor Care Cursing Center in Palm Desert She was a bomemaker. Survivors include her husband, George; two daughters, Jennifer Napier and Joanna Napier, both of Palm Desert; her mother, Lois Crawford of Michigan; a brother, Fred Schneider of Florida; and a sister, Patricia Mannor of Florida. Gordon Sheldon, 73 Graveside services for Gordon Ernest Sheldon, 73, of Tarzana will be Friday at Evergreen Cemetery in Riverside. Mr. Sheldon, a native of Los Angeles, died Oct 20 in Tarzana. He was a winter resident of Indio for the past five years. He worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District for 32 years and was a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Survivors Include bis wife, Lois; a son, Michael Sheldon of Everett, a daughter, Nancy Fransen of Genoa, Nev and four grandchildren.
